It might have been my first interview with Rinpoche. A lama was coming to translate. I was somewhat (maybe a lot) intimidated by Rinpoche, maybe afraid of what he would see in me. The lama was very very late!

In the meantime, I gave Rinpoche a gift. We both sat there calmly and pleasantly. After a while I asked if I could film. I always had video cam with me.

I was slowly filming the things of his room — everything was so precious — sounds, scents, objects— and powerful… and what happened next you see for yourself!

As much surprise for me as it is for you! And thus our true relationship continued… one of trust and sweetness, and healing—a great and growing understanding that teachings come in many forms.
