Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche:
“The only thing that I ever saw that was extraordinary was that occasionally when I would be speaking to him, he would disappear and reappear.
He would be sitting in an armchair and I would be looking at him and talking to him.
All of a sudden, I would find myself looking right through him. He was not there in the armchair although he was still talking and I was still listening. Then he would reappear.”
