Some of you may have seen this photo on my timeline, but most of you have not, and I’ve been meaning to share it here for some time. A KTD email I received today prodded me to finally do so!

I love this photo because you can see Rinpoche’s Buddha nature shining right through! 

Here, Rinpoche and I share a laugh as I present him with a gift on his 92nd birthday celebration at Karma Triyana Dharmachakra outside Woodstock, N.Y., on July 4, 2015. 

I had given him miniature stuffed rooster that crowed when squeezed. He loved it!
