He Nurtured Us …
He Taught Us

He nurtured us
He taught us
– To tame our minds
– To open our hearts to loving kindness and compassion
– Practice deity meditation
– Try and practice Mahamudra
– To make offerings of mantra, mudras, song, tormas, shrines
– To practice joyfully together with our darma siblings from around the globe
– To listen, reflect, contemplate
– To view all those we meet as having been our mothers from past rebirths, and realize no one is a stranger
– To hold Bodhichitta near and dear to our hearts
– To hold Samaya with great respect
– To serve His Holiness 16th Karmapa Rangjung Rigpe Dorje and His Holiness 17th Gyalwang Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje with a lifetime of love, devotion, trust, and respect
– Though it felt like we were the only person receiving all these precious blessings, to realize he treated everyone this way
– To rest in Guru Yoga- receiving his blessings even now
– To remember all he has given to each of us and offer to everyone, without hesitation
– He did everything for his students including having the Karma Chagme transmission
– I loved that after an Amitabha retreat you started a snowball fight with me.
– Thank you Precious One, i am sorry for having been such a lazy prideful student. I love you, miss you and know you are even now showering us with blessings from the Dharmakaya.
